Job Description

As a mechanic at Bergkvara, you will work with everything from routine service to qualified troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.

The work is planned in close cooperation with the workshop manager, giving you good opportunities to influence your own daily routine and development. You have ongoing dialogue with your nearest manager regarding your development opportunities, and we place great importance on creating the right conditions for both you and the business to grow.

As a technician in the bus industry, you will have the opportunity to work broadly. Our vehicles include high voltage, gas, and traditional diesel propulsion, with complex signal and comfort systems based on mechanics. This means you will develop a broad skill set that makes you very strong within the entire automotive industry.

All employees receive a thorough introduction upon starting.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

Vocational education in vehicle technology at the upper secondary level or experience in vehicle technology work, preferably within buses or other heavy vehicles.
Knowledge or familiarity with diagnostic tools or other specialized skills.
Category B driver's license.
Good computer skills.
Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

Category C and/or D driver's licenses.
Ability to express yourself in English and other languages.
