About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in parts of Malmö, with VA Syd as the client. To strengthen the department, we are now looking for dedicated and positive environmental workers with a Category C driving license and YKB certification.

As an environmental worker, you play a key role in the company. You are Verdis face to the public and become one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Malmö clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You operate from our depot in Malmö and report to the local supervisor.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Collection and transport of waste
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance of vehicles and bodywork

Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a Category C driving license and YKB certification and who master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

The following experience and skills are seen as meritorious:

• Experience driving heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of heavy vehicles
• Experience in some form of waste collection
• Local knowledge (Malmö)
• Good computer skills

Other information
Start: According to agreement
Employment type and extent: Permanent, full-time (probation period applies).
Working hours: We operate Monday to Friday from 06:30 - 15:30.
