Your Responsibilities

As a Production Engineer, you will have the opportunity to perform the following tasks:

• Programming of new product machining: You will use EdgeCam to program new products for machining in CNC machines. During the development of new products, you will collaborate with your colleagues to influence the design and facilitate the machining process.
• Running in new products: You will be responsible for running in new products and releasing them for series production. This may involve operating machines for products you have programmed yourself, or supporting your colleagues at the machine to ensure a smooth start-up.
• Designing and manufacturing fixtures: You will draw up and program the machining of fixtures for the new products you develop. In dialogue with your colleagues, you will create solutions optimized to ensure high-quality machining of the parts.
• Supporting technical projects: You will support the technical department in its work to continuously develop and improve existing products in production. You will also participate in other technical projects and contribute with your expertise.

Your Profile

You are goal-oriented and take the time to follow up and achieve your goals. You are an open-minded and non-hierarchical person who enjoys solving problems and taking on challenges together with your colleagues. You take initiative and communicate well with both customers and colleagues. You can read drawings and have experience with CAD/CAM software. Knowledge of Solidworks and EdgeCam is a plus, as these are the programs we use for drawing and programming.
