About the role

We are looking for a driven and experienced chef with a strong work ethic and a passion for cooking. You are self-motivated, service-oriented, and thrive in a kitchen environment where the pace can be fast-paced at times. You spot what needs to be done, take initiative, and contribute to a strong team.

We are looking for someone who:

Has extensive experience with traditional Swedish home cooking (husmanskost)
Is structured, detail-oriented, and keeps the kitchen organized
Has a genuine service mindset and enjoys exceeding guest expectations
Is flexible, solution-oriented, and a team player
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has good proficiency in Swedish or English

About the position

You will work with classic chef duties covering lunch, conferences, and bistro menus (à la carte). Responsibilities include cooking, preparation, ordering supplies, and working to reduce food waste. Experience in baking is a plus, as we also serve coffee breaks during conferences.

About us

Hotel Rådmannen is a four-star hotel with 59 rooms and 12 conference facilities. Our dining hall seats approximately 140 guests, and our à la carte restaurant (Majas Krog) offers an additional 30 seats. We serve high-quality lunch buffets, conference meals, and bistro food featuring classic dishes.
