Markverkstad Syd (Southern Land Workshop)

The Land Workshops (MvE) are a unit within the Army Staff (AST) that performs maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' land equipment and air base equipment, and delivers technical system support. This involves maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection. The land workshop unit delivers services according to customer requirements.

You will belong to Markverkstad Syd, which operates in Tofta, Revingehed, Ronneby, and Karlskrona, and has approximately 160 employees.

Main Responsibilities

We are now looking for technicians for the special detail in Revingehed, where the main tasks will be to perform service and maintenance on various equipment used within the Swedish Armed Forces, e.g., base materials, containers, work tools, passenger cars, and power generators. The work also involves preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as modification and decommissioning of equipment. We will offer internal training on systems and equipment as we work with unique products.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• At least a completed two- or three-year upper secondary education with a focus on technology or equivalent, or alternative competence acquired through professional experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.
• Experience in similar work.
• Computer literacy with knowledge of the MS Office suite, primarily Word and Excel.
• Good knowledge of technology and troubleshooting.
• Category B driver's license.
• Refrigeration certificate.

Other

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.

Employment level: Full-time, daytime hours – varying working hours may occur.

Work location: Markverkstad Syd / Revingehed.

Start date: As soon as possible after agreement.

The work also involves requirements for travel and duty, both domestic and international.

The position is a civilian post.

Work with hardening plastics may occur at the Workshop.
