Our client is an established company within the maintenance and operation of road infrastructure, operating across large parts of Sweden. The company works with road maintenance, smaller earth and construction works as well as green area maintenance, and has a strong position within its niche.

About the team & role

You will become part of a local team in Helsingborg that works closely together in daily operational tasks. The team consists of skilled workers and supervisors who together are responsible for keeping roads and outdoor environments safe and well-maintained.

The role is broad and practical. You will work with maintenance and operations tasks such as:

• Green area maintenance
• Unpaved road maintenance
• Smaller earth contracting works
• Ensuring safe traffic environments
• Reporting faults and deficiencies via digital tools

The work is partly event-driven, which means that days can vary depending on what happens in the operation. This requires flexibility, but also structure and responsibility.

About you

We believe that you are a person who thrives in a practical role where you get to work outdoors and see concrete results from your work.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance and operations, green area maintenance, construction, or similar contracting work
• Hold a valid B-driver's license
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Are accustomed to using digital tools such as mobile phones or tablets at work

It is an advantage if you have machine operator certificates or training such as Hot Work, Chainsaw, or Working on the Road.

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and engaged in your work. You enjoy working in a team and contribute to a good community. Since the work can be event-driven, it is important that you are flexible and can prioritize when the situation demands it.

About the assignment

This is a consultancy assignment through us as a staffing agency with immediate start. The assignment is full-time and initially runs for 6 months, with the possibility of direct hire to the client for the right person.
