Veterinären Nära Dig is a private small animal clinic in Trelleborg. Here, we work closely together in an engaged team where collaboration, competence development, and personal customer service are a natural part of everyday life.

We are now looking for a animal care assistant, preferably with level 2 or level 3 education, who wants to help develop our operations together with us.

About the position

The work is varied and includes, among other things:

• Assisting veterinarians and veterinary nurses in daily tasks.
• Care for in-patients.
• Sample collection and laboratory work.
• Preparation for surgery and anesthesia.
• X-rays and other clinical tasks according to qualification.
• Customer contact and reception duties.
• Maintenance of the clinic and equipment.

At our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work broadly and develop within several areas of small animal healthcare.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as an animal care assistant, preferably level 2 or level 3.
• Has a strong interest in small animal healthcare.
• Is responsible, detail-oriented, and has a good attitude towards people and animals.
• Thrives in a team environment and wants to contribute to a positive workplace.
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience from a small animal clinic is meritorious but not a requirement. For the right person, commitment, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are just as important.
