We are now seeking hourly substitute cleaners for the Local Maintenance Unit. Local Maintenance is part of the Community Development sector, which also includes the Planning & Building Unit, the Meals Unit, and the Technical Unit.

The Local Maintenance Unit is an important part of property maintenance and is responsible for the daily cleaning of the municipality's own premises, such as schools, preschools, nursing homes, offices, and staff rooms. The unit also handles periodic tasks such as floor care. Currently, the unit has thirteen permanent local maintenance staff members, as well as intermittent employees who work as needed during the summer and during other absences.

Your Role

In the role of hourly substitute, you will be a key part of how the unit delivers high-quality service in our assignments. You will support the operations as needed, for example during sickness or vacation. The primary need is for support in daily cleaning, but also for periodic tasks such as floor care. Working hours are scheduled during daytime on weekdays without holidays.

Your Profile

The position requires proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, to ensure good communication with colleagues and customers. A valid driver's license (Category B) is desirable, as many of the facilities are spread out across the municipality. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required for employment, as you will be working in premises with children and young people.

Education in local maintenance, such as SRY or PRYL, is highly meritorious. Previous practical experience in the field of local maintenance is preferred.
