Mofast is looking for a Property Maintenance Technician based in Södertälje

About the role

We are currently looking for a Property Maintenance Technician for our office in Södertälje. As a Property Maintenance Technician at Mofast AB, you will be responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance of our properties. You will work both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues. The work area covers Södertälje and surrounding areas.

Your duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and maintenance, corrective maintenance, minor repairs, as well as groundskeeping, snow removal, and ice control.

You will also be responsible for ongoing contact with tenants, customers, and contractors.

Who are you?

We are looking for an engaged and competent Property Maintenance Technician who will help ensure the operation and maintenance of our properties. As a Property Maintenance Technician, you play a key role in creating a safe and pleasant environment for our tenants. If you have experience in property maintenance and are passionate about delivering high-quality service, you might be the person we are looking for.

You have the required experience as a Property Maintenance Technician, Property Technician, or have acquired relevant knowledge in other ways. Knowledge in construction, electrical, plumbing (HVAC), and ventilation is a plus. You have good communication skills and are service-oriented with a positive attitude towards tenants, customers, and colleagues. As a person, you are good at planning and prioritizing your work. Since computers are a natural part of the job, we expect you to have computer proficiency. A valid Class B driver's license is required.

Competence and Experience:

Education and Competence: Upper secondary education in property maintenance or a similar relevant field. Experience in technical service and maintenance of properties. Knowledge of building technology, plumbing, electrical systems, and other technical systems.

Technical Skills: Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance work. Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability measures. Experience working with various tools and technical equipment.

Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in property maintenance or a related field. Previous experience in handling and collaborating with contractors and suppliers. Good understanding of legislation and regulations within property management.

Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and prioritize tasks efficiently. Good organizational and administrative skills. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.

Communication Skills: Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish. Experience in reporting and documenting work. Ability to communicate with tenants and colleagues in a professional manner.

Service Mindset: High customer focus and ability to solve problems efficiently. Friendly and positive attitude towards tenants and colleagues. Willingness to participate in on-call duties and handle urgent situations.

Health and Safety: Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and safety routines. Ability to identify and handle risks related to property maintenance. Good physical fitness to perform work that may be physically demanding.

Driving: A driver's license is required to perform transports and inspections.

Flexibility: Willingness to work outside regular hours when necessary. Flexibility to handle different types of properties and tasks.

Commitment to Further Education: Desire to stay updated on new technologies and trends in property maintenance. Willingness to participate in training and courses to develop competence.
