Do you want to work with advanced hematological care in a setting where you can combine medical technical tasks with close and long-term patient contact? We are now looking for a nursing assistant for our hematological day care, where you will become an important part of a multiprofessional team and follow the patient through the entire treatment process.

About the position
At our hematological day care, advanced cancer care is combined with a person-centered approach and close patient contact. Here you have the opportunity to follow patients through the entire treatment process while working in an experienced and engaged team alongside nurses and doctors.
As a nursing assistant here, you are an important part of the patient-facing team. The work is varied and includes both practical tasks and nursing care with a focus on safety, attitude, and continuity for patients and their relatives.
Tasks include among other things:
- Performing blood sampling and monitoring vital parameters.
- Performing venesection together with another nursing assistant.
- Assisting with bone marrow examinations and abdominal fat biopsies.
- Participating in daily nursing care.
- Preparing and setting up treatment rooms before and after patient visits.
We are looking for you who
- Are confident in yourself and your professional role, and have the ability to handle complex situations in a stable manner.
- Take responsibility for your work, drive your tasks forward, and prioritize based on patient needs.
- Work well with other professions and contribute to good collaboration within the team.
- Have an empathetic and professional attitude towards patients and relatives at different stages of life.
- Work in a structured manner and plan and organize your work efficiently.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants or an employer's certificate confirming that you had a permanent employment as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) in the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). If you apply with an employer's certificate, you must attach a certificate from your nursing assistant education.
- Previous experience of working in outpatient or inpatient care.
Merits:
- Specialist education in oncology or emergency care.
- Experience in hematology, oncological care, or other highly specialized care.
