About the role

Professionals Nord, in collaboration with our client, is looking for an Operations Technician within heating. The assignment is part of our staffing service. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for 6 months. The intention is that you will then be employed directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities:

In the role of Operations Technician, you work together with the team to ensure that the facility is operated safely and efficiently. You will gradually learn the entire process and work close to the daily operation of the facility. The role is practical and hands-on, where you combine monitoring from the control room with work out in the facility, for example troubleshooting, adjusting valves, working with pumps, and simpler work in control systems. You work shifts together with the team to keep the operation running in a business that operates 24/7. Examples of tasks:

• Operation and monitoring of the facility and processes
• Operator maintenance and supervision
• Troubleshooting and process optimization
• Participation in shutdown and restart of the facility
• Documentation and follow-up of operational status

We are looking for you who:

• Have an engineering degree in, for example, energy technology, energy systems, chemical engineering, process technology, or similar
• Have a strong technical interest and want to develop practically within the process industry
• Speak and write fluent Swedish and English
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is meritorious if you already have experience from the process industry or the energy sector. If you also have hot work certification, crane license, or ESA, we view this positively.
