Are you engaged, competent in production engineering, and communicative? Do you want to work with varied tasks close to production? Then we have the job for you!

We are currently looking for a Production Engineer for our section within Product Development in Örebro. In this role, you will work with production engineering issues for our customers within the telecom, automotive, defense, manufacturing, and mining industries.

This is a broad role where you will serve as a key link between product development/design and production. Your responsibilities include:

  • Development of production layouts and tool design.
  • Procurement of new production equipment.
  • Introduction of new products.
  • Design review, preparation, assessment of machine capacity, method selection, and programming.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Degree from a university of technology or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in production engineering.
  • Knowledge of CAD and reading drawings. Knowledge of quality control documentation, such as FMEA.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

You will be based at AFRY's office in Örebro and/or at the customer's premises.
