We are currently looking for a caretaker for Norlandia preschools in Upplands Väsby, who can step in on an as-needed basis.

As a caretaker, you will assist the preschool by ensuring the yard looks neat and pleasant, as well as handling maintenance and repairs of the premises.

You are a person who enjoys order and tidiness, has an interest in gardening, and likes mowing the lawn, sweeping, and raking leaves. You are service-oriented, have a knack for practical problem-solving, and are capable of working independently. You have good collaboration skills and are social, as you will interact with both children and educators.

Responsibilities

• Mowing the lawns
• Sweeping and raking the yard
• Pruning trees and bushes
• Simple carpentry work, repairs, and improvements
• Snow clearing
• Other common caretaker duties

Employment Type

This is a hourly position on an as-needed basis. Start date: Immediately or by agreement.

We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Personal suitability will be given great weight.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required upon employment.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
