We are looking for a chef for a newly renovated restaurant in Årjäng

Do you want to be part of creating something unique from the ground up? We are now looking for a chef for our newly renovated restaurant in Årjäng, Värmland. For the right person, we offer an exciting opportunity to help shape the restaurant's identity, develop your own menu, and grow together with the business. Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook food with a focus on quality and great taste.
• Be involved in creating and developing the restaurant's menu.
• Work with seasonal ingredients and, to the greatest extent possible, locally produced products and game meat.
• Ensure order, hygiene, and structure in the kitchen according to current regulations.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and good teamwork.
• Participate in purchasing, ingredient handling, and daily planning of kitchen work.

Requirements

• Experience working as a chef.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Interest in high-quality cooking and a good sense for ingredients.
• Good teamwork skills and a solution-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen organization.
• Good proficiency in Swedish or another Scandinavian language.

Merits

• Experience with menu development.
• Interest in sustainable gastronomy, local ingredients, and game.
• Experience working in smaller teams or in developing businesses.
• Knowledge of Nordic or seasonal cooking.
