Environmental Worker/Sweeping Driver (Katrineholm)

About the role

At Ohlssons, we are looking for Environmental Workers/Sweeping Drivers with a Category C driving license for our waste management contract in Katrineholm. In this role, you will have a varied daily routine working in the field, performing meaningful work that contributes to a sustainable future.

Your primary tasks will involve collecting household waste according to planned routes using our rear-loading trucks (4-compartment/village trucks). It is important that you are meticulous to ensure all bins are emptied, and that you take responsibility for carrying out the work in a safe and secure manner. You are an important ambassador for Ohlssons as you interact with many customers; therefore, it is important that you have a positive attitude and enjoy providing good service.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Category C driving license.
• Valid YKB (Swedish Certificate of Professional Competence for drivers).
• Experience in the driving profession, with experience in the waste management industry being an advantage.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good communication skills in Swedish.
• Local knowledge of the region is an advantage.
