We are now looking for operations technicians for our shift organization.
We have facilities of varying sizes and technologies around Jönköping where we produce and distribute steam, district heating, district cooling, and electricity. We continuously work on improvements to increase availability and reduce our environmental impact. Our shift organization consists of six shift teams with four people in each team – a dedicated group that together ensures that Jönköping has a secure and sustainable energy supply. Do you want to be one of them?
Job Responsibilities
As an operations technician, you work in shifts and, together with your team, are responsible for the operation and optimization of our facilities. The work is both operational and problem-solving, with a focus on high availability, secure delivery, and low environmental impact.
Examples of tasks include:
- Monitoring and controlling facilities from the control room
- Operation and optimization of combined heat and power plants, boilers, district cooling, and hydropower
- Rounds, troubleshooting, and fault resolution
- Preventive maintenance and interventions during operational disruptions
- Monitoring of distribution networks with pumps and external production units
Your main workplace is the combined heat and power plant in Torsvik, but the responsibility extends across several facilities in and around Jönköping.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and thrive with responsibility, variety, and teamwork.
We would like you to have:
- Post-secondary education in operations, energy, power, or process (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience from process industry, energy production, or technical operations is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Category B driver's license
As a person, you are:
- An engaged problem solver who takes initiative when something unexpected happens
- Responsible and meticulous, with safety in focus
- Collaborative and thrives in a shift team
- Curious and eager to develop together with others
Personal suitability is given great weight.
