In the role of mechanic in Gällivare, you will have a varied and developmental position where you work with the service, troubleshooting, and repair of construction machinery and vehicles. You work both in the workshop and out in the field, ensuring that no two days are the same. Here, you will use your technical skills, drive, and problem-solving abilities in a job with great freedom and personal responsibility. The position involves working on a 7/7 schedule – seven days of work followed by seven days of leave – which gives you plenty of time for recovery and leisure.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of construction machinery
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Adaptations and improvement work on machinery
• Documentation of completed work
• Collaboration with operations and production staff

We are looking for you who:

• Have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy tinkering, screwing, or welding
• Have previous experience as a mechanic (preferred)
• Have a technical interest and enjoy tinkering/welding in your spare time
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Hold a valid B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• Connection to/residence in Gällivare
• Knowledge within hydraulics
• Electrical competence and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with construction machinery or heavy vehicles
