Main Responsibilities
As a mechanic, you have an important job working with the various types of vehicles and their associated systems found in the Swedish Armed Forces, e.g., passenger cars, trailers, trucks, containers, etc. The work involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as modifications based on established specifications. Tasks involving other equipment may also occur.

Qualifications
- At least a two-year upper secondary education in vehicle technology with a vehicle focus, or equivalent experience/competence assessed by the employer as equivalent
- Experience from workshop work, preferably as a mechanic or heavy mechanic
- Category B driver's license
- Swedish citizenship
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
Merits
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' equipment
- Previous experience from LIFT/Prio
- AC training
- Computer skills for troubleshooting, documentation, and workshop production
- Previous experience working with vehicle electronics
- Forklift license

As a mechanic, you are structured, decisive, and make correct assessments and prioritizations. We are looking for someone who is meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards. Other Information
The position is a civil permanent employment, which for you if you are not already employed within the Swedish Armed Forces begins with a 6-month probationary period. Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
The employment is full-time with regular working hours Monday–Friday with flexible time applied. Irregular working hours and duty at inconvenient times may occur, as well as travel in the service. The position is located in Örebro.
