About the role

Ovzon, a leading Swedish technology company within satellite communications, is now looking for an Assembler for its production operations. The company develops and delivers mobile broadband services via satellite to customers with high demands for availability, security, and performance – for example within defense, rescue services, and international organizations. With its own satellite capacity and advanced terminal technology, the company offers a holistic solution that enables communication even in the most challenging environments. The operations are characterized by innovation, rapid technological development, and close collaboration between product development, production, and the business side.

The role of Assembler involves ensuring high quality in the production and delivery of satellite terminals, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency. You will become part of a small, high-performing team and work closely with R&D and engineers in an environment with varied tasks and small batches requiring high precision.

Responsibilities

As an Assembler at Ovzon, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of mechanical, electronic, and radio technical components and systems. The role involves ensuring high quality in production and delivery, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

  • Assembly of mechanical components and structures according to drawings and instructions.
  • Installation and soldering of electronic circuits, cabling, and modules.
  • Testing of radio parts, including antennas, filters, and entire satellite terminals.
  • Performing functional and quality tests on finished units.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electronic issues.
  • Documentation of work steps and deviations according to established procedures.
  • Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with current safety regulations and quality standards.

We are looking for you who

  • Have at least a high school diploma
  • Have experience in assembly within fine mechanics, electronics, and/or radio technology from previous work or education
  • Have a good understanding of drawings, schematics, and technical instructions
  • Have a strong technical interest, enjoy working practically, and are curious to learn more
  • Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you

  • Are certified in soldering
  • Have practical experience in soldering and cable laying
