Your role as Weekend Automation Manager As the Weekend Automation Manager at Apotea, you will be the hub of the logistics machinery in Morgongåva. You will have an overview of our production flows and ensure that every order goes as it should through our systems and automation solutions. The role combines the operations coordinator's broad production responsibility with the automation manager's understanding of automation, leadership, and improvement work – with a focus on daily operations, planning, and coordination.

You will spend a large part of your time close to production on the floor, working closely with our teams in Morgongåva as well as other parts of Apotea, such as Rx, customer service, IT, service, and technical teams. You do not have formal personnel responsibility in this role, but you lead, support, and coordinate managers and key operational functions to secure priorities, staffing, and production goals.

Your focus is on planning production, allocating resources, identifying and solving problems, and ensuring we meet our deadlines. You also drive improvements that make our flows even smarter, safer, and more efficient.

Short about the position
• Location: Morgongåva, no hybrid work offered
• Employment type: Permanent full-time position, with a 6-month probation period
• Working hours: Saturday to Tuesday, 06:00–18:00
• Reports to: Logistics Manager
• Start: As soon as possible according to agreement

Your responsibilities
• Plan production and allocate resources to maximize flow and create clear priorities in operations
• Monitor our systems, such as Lima, Wamas, and Lighthouse, and act quickly in case of deviations
• Ensure operational support for Rx order handling and contribute to customer deliveries functioning as planned
• Lead and support managers and key functions towards common production goals – we win as a team
• Solve production challenges in both software and hardware in close collaboration with IT, service, and technical teams
• Follow up that improvement projects and decided actions reach their goals
• Act as backup in various leadership functions as needed
• Provide constructive feedback to development teams, report deviations, and contribute to better routines and working methods
• Ensure clear handovers between shifts and create stability in operations

You are close to the operations, unpretentious in collaboration, and clear in your communication – even when conditions change rapidly.

• Experience in production planning, operations management, team leading, or coordinating roles within warehousing, logistics, production, e-commerce, or automation
• Good system familiarity, preferably from Lima, Wamas, AutoStore, Lighthouse, or similar systems
• Good understanding of logistical flows, from picking list to dispatch
• Experience working with daily management, resource allocation, follow-up, and improvement work
• Ability to lead through others, create structure, and motivate managers, team leads, and employees towards common goals
• Experience with automated warehouse solutions, WMS, Lean/5S, or similar working methods is an advantage
