Your new work group

You will be part of the Climate Adaptation unit in Luleå, Skellefteå, or Umeå. Climate Adaptation has approximately 45 consultants represented in Stockholm, Malmö, Helsingborg, Kalmar, Luleå, and Skellefteå. Our units within Climate Adaptation have competencies in, among other things, investigation and design of blue-green solutions, hydraulic modeling, and flood management. We also have close collaboration with the rest of Ramboll in Sweden and globally. • A university degree in Civil Engineering.
• Motivation to work for a sustainable society.
• An enjoyment of collaborating and coaching others.

• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with modeling tools such as MikeUrban, Mike+, Hec-Ras, TUFLOW, etc., is meritorious.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and GIS is meritorious.

As a hydraulic modeler, you will work broadly with modeling of storms, pipe networks, and watercourses. You will collaborate with other engineers within, among other fields, landscape architecture, land and road design, geotechnics, hydrogeology, and environment. Examples of tasks within assignments may include the following:

• Build and maintain models in various modeling programs, primarily MIKE+, MikeUrban, and Hec-Ras.
• Provide basis for decisions on urban planning, climate adaptation, and investments.
• Design pipes, stormwater solutions, and produce technical basis for system and construction documents.
• Conduct capacity and flood analyses including scenarios for extreme precipitation and climate impact.
• Analyze and present results and recommendations to clients and project groups.
