Do you want an interesting and varied job where you make a difference for Sweden's defense capability? Swedec is looking for instructors for the training section who want to contribute to developing the section and the EOD and Search Company. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and train the EOD and Search Company and, by extension, the War Band 1. Ammunition Clearance Company.

The National Centre for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Mine Clearance (Swedec) is part of the Swedish Armed Forces and is a national competence center for land-based explosive ordnance disposal and mine clearance operations as well as military search services. Our operations are central to Sweden's defense, and we strive to meet every threat and overcome every challenge. Through education, development, and operational missions, we create the prerequisites for a stronger defense and a safer society.
As an instructor in the training section, you belong to the unit Swedec and report directly to the Head of the Training Section. The Training Section supports the EOD and Search Company with education, training, and operational activities such as company exercises, SUSA, specialized training such as climbing/rappelling, and MRPAS. The section also provides support to other units and authorities. The section is newly established and under construction; it will also be responsible for training in motor services and medical services. The role of instructor combines independent work with collaboration in various projects, providing both variety and influence in daily life.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate education/training.
- Provide expertise in the development of methods and techniques.
- Provide support in the development of equipment within your own equipment area.
- Provide support in the development of war bands.
- Lead, coordinate, and develop your own functional area.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Approved professional officer education OR6 or OR7.
- Good experience in the role of educator.
- Category B driver's license (manual).
Personal qualities:
The ability to work independently and structured is a requirement based on the tasks the training section solves. Flexibility and problem-solving skills are desirable qualities. To succeed in the role, you should be a humble team player. You take responsibility for both your own and common goals, support colleagues, and contribute to the section's development. Social competence, pedagogical ability, and commitment to the operations are crucial. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent, the Swedish Armed Forces apply a 6-month probation period for those not already employed by the authority.
