Our client is one of the leading companies in flow and heat technology and is now looking for a traveling service technician. This role involves global travel, where you will solve complex technical challenges and build strong customer relationships.
About the Role
As a traveling service technician, you will be the face of our client and a key player in their aftermarket team. In this role, you are responsible for the service and maintenance of advanced electric boilers for customers globally. You work independently to diagnose, repair, and optimize facilities, while building trust and long-term relationships with customers. You will become part of a small but tightly knit team of 2 other traveling service technicians.
What We Offer
Our client offers you an stimulating role with great freedom under responsibility, where you have the opportunity to develop in a team characterized by problem-solving and customer focus. After an initial period of full-time travel, the work shifts to a schedule of approximately 2 weeks on the road and 1 week at home. In this role, you will travel to Europe, Canada, and New Zealand, among other places.
Responsibilities
This role involves extensive travel to perform service, maintenance, and repairs on advanced electric boilers for customers around the world. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, and ensuring optimal operation of the facilities.
- Travel globally for service assignments (Europe, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden).
- Coordinate visits and orders with customers.
- Assess and perform necessary maintenance and replace components.
- Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and recommend actions.
- Write detailed service reports.
We are looking for someone who
- Has the desire and opportunity to travel extensively internationally (approx. 3-4 days/week).
- Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Has a strong ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Has experience in mechanical work, e.g., as an automotive mechanic.
It is an advantage if you have
- Basic knowledge of German, French, or Finnish.
- Experience in service work within industry or similar fields.
