Operations Technicians Wanted at Ovako Hällefors!
Are you someone who enjoys variety in work and adapts when the day doesn't go as planned? Are you driven by problem-solving and do you enjoy providing good service? Are you technically minded and looking for a practical job where you use both your hands and your head? Furthermore, do you want to work in a bustling industrial environment with lots of activity and movement? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for!
As an operations technician, you will work with maintenance and service at our facility. To produce and deliver the volumes we need, it is crucial that our facility operates as intended, and here you, as an operations technician, become a vital cog in the wheel. In your daily work, you will handle both corrective and preventive maintenance covering everything from heating and cooling to water and sewage. You will also perform rounds, check, and analyze statistics for the consumption of energy, water, compressed air, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). As an operations technician, you will also work with water sampling, discharge permits, and systematic fire safety work.
You will have many contact points, both internally and externally. Therefore, it is important that you are service-oriented and enjoy helping others. In addition to a high service spirit, it is also important that you have good coordination skills and can work independently and make your own decisions within the scope of your work.

Your Profile
The successful candidate has a completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus. If you have previously worked in a similar role or in a service-oriented technical job, we view this as an advantage. At the same time, we believe that you, being technically minded with the right attitude and great curiosity, combined with the personal qualities mentioned above, will be able to grow into the role with us.
To be able to absorb information, instructions, and safety regulations, it is of great importance that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You need to have good basic IT skills and experience working with various IT systems.
You must have a valid B-driver's license to be considered for the position. It is an advantage if you have a forklift license or lift license, but if not, you will receive training for this from us. Knowledge and experience in control and regulation technology are also seen as advantageous.
