We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable educator for a position within vocational higher education, focusing on the course Electrical Theory and Electrical Safety for Operations Technicians. This role is suitable for you who have a strong practical and theoretical background in the electrical field and enjoy sharing your knowledge with adult students.

As the course coordinator, you are responsible for planning and delivering the course together with the education provider. The teaching combines theory and practical exercises and is aimed at students within operations technology, specializing in combined heat and power, district heating, and district cooling.

The course includes among other things:

• Electrical theory and safety

• Direct and alternating current circuits

• Structure and function of the power grid

• Metering technology and troubleshooting

• Electrical components and systems

• Risk assessments and safety regulations

The role includes among other things:

• Planning and structuring the course content

• Delivering teaching and practical exercises

• Developing course materials and exercises

• Supporting and guiding students

• Conducting examinations and providing feedback

• Collaborating with educational management regarding course structure and quality

• Has current and relevant experience in the electrical field

• Has a good understanding of electrical safety and industry practices

• Is pedagogical and confident in leading groups

• Can connect theory to practical examples from working life

• Thrives working independently and in a structured manner

• Experience in adult education or vocational higher education

• Experience in technical education or mentoring

• Familiarity with digital learning platforms

• Scope: Fixed-term assignment
