As a Maintenance Technician, you will become a key part of our production chain, contributing to ensuring our life-saving medicines reach patients worldwide. In this role, you will work in a modern and growing facility where you can use your technical expertise to keep our equipment in top condition. You will join an engaged team within the Technical Unit, enjoying a daily work life characterized by collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous development. The position is permanent with an immediate start. Working hours are two-shifts with on-call duty every sixth week.

Your responsibilities and areas of responsibility

• Emergency maintenance and troubleshooting (mechanical maintenance)
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance of production equipment
• Participate in risk assessments for maintenance of new and existing equipment
• Ensure good collaboration with production and support functions to guarantee optimal delivery
• Participate in commissioning and qualification of new and existing equipment
• Work actively to achieve departmental goals and key performance indicators, taking action when necessary

Your background

• Relevant education from upper secondary school or vocational higher education (YH)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• A few years of experience as a maintenance or service technician in the process industry
• You should have experience with mechanical work involving pumps, and experience with metalworking such as welding, turning, and milling is a plus
• Experience working within GMP and the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage

Engineering within Technical Unit

• The Technical Unit is organized into the departments of Engineering, Maintenance, Facility & Utilities, and Automation & Metrology
• The Technical Unit is responsible for ensuring that the production facility, buildings, and other equipment are in place and functioning
• This function is crucial for the business to operate sustainably
• We continuously invest in the site, leading to modernization and expansion
• Currently, a brand new production line for filling and freeze-drying is being installed
