AB Nynäshamnsbostäder is a wholly-owned municipal housing company that owns and manages approximately 2,500 rental apartments and 10,000 sqm of commercial premises in Nynäshamn, Ösmo, Stora Vika, and Sorunda. We are now looking for an Environmental Caretaker to join the team in Nynäshamn who wants to contribute to well-maintained properties and safe living environments. About the role
As an Environmental Caretaker, you work with supervision and cleaning in and around the properties, responsible for ensuring common areas are neat and clean. You work together with another Environmental Caretaker, area managers, and property managers in a team covering several properties, and also assist with other properties when needed. You are based at our office on Lövlundsvägen 8A in Nynäshamn.
Your daily tasks include among others:
- Maintain the property's common areas such as waste management, stairwells, cellars, and laundry rooms
- Receive reports regarding common areas
- Patrols and supervision in and around the properties and environmental rooms – ensure it is clean and tidy
- Property-related collection with activity around the environmental stations
- External maintenance and cleaning of courtyard environments, walkways, and parking spaces, as well as simpler spot measures
- Light painting work, changing light bulbs, and simpler repairs
- Simpler repairs of e.g., seating areas, playgrounds, as well as garage and parking spaces
- Orders and invoice management
Your profile
You are customer-focused and have a good ability to build relationships with both your colleagues and tenants. You work proactively and efficiently and have good prioritization skills. You meet people with understanding and have an open and clear approach.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A few years of experience working in a similar role, preferably with housing but not required
- Experience with simpler repairs and property maintenance
- Good habit of working with service and customer contact
- Good IT skills – you are used to using mobile apps and case management systems
- Good communication skills in both Swedish and English. Other language skills are meritorious
- Category B driver's license
- Good physical condition is meritorious
