Are you someone who thrives outdoors, regardless of the weather? Do you have a chainsaw license A-C and want to develop in your professional role? Then we might be looking for you! We also offer C-level training for those with an A-B license and at least 80 hours of practical experience.

About the position

We are currently looking for an engaged forest worker for Dalarna, Hälsingland, and Gästrikland. The work involves varied assignments in manual cutting and root cutting of storm-fallen timber, with a focus on safe work, quality, and precision. We often work in demanding terrain and with projects requiring high technical competence.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manual root cutting, felling, and processing of trees.
  • Advanced tree felling near buildings and power lines.
  • Thinning and forest care.
  • Daily maintenance and simple servicing of machinery and equipment.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is physically robust, self-reliant, and has a strong safety mindset. We place great emphasis on your practical experience and your commitment to performing safe work.

Requirements for the position:

  • Chainsaw license level A-C.
  • Alternatively, completed A-B course and documented practice of at least 80 hours within forestry work.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
  • Category B driver's license.

Training opportunity: To work with us, a Chainsaw license level C (Advanced felling) is required. For the right candidate who holds an A-B license and meets the 80-hour practice requirement (which must be verified, e.g., through a certificate from a previous employer or a practice journal), we offer the opportunity to undergo C-level training in connection with employment.

Merits:

  • Already holding a Chainsaw license level C.
  • Green card in forest care. (Online training is offered by us.)
  • Experience working with brush cutters (RA/RB).
  • Training within ESA or experience working near roads.
  • L-ABC and AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
  • Fire safety training.

We offer

  • A secure workplace with a focus on working environment and competence development.
  • Opportunity to take the next step in your career through certification.
  • Modern machinery and high-quality protective equipment.
  • Market-competitive salary according to collective agreement + personal performance bonuses.
  • Training adapted to the work being performed.
