Your Responsibilities

As a mechanic for our client, you will primarily work with troubleshooting, disassembly, refurbishment, and assembly of reverse gears and gearboxes for heavy vehicles and industrial applications. The work takes place mainly in a workshop environment, but also on-site at the customer's location when needed. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting, disassembly, and refurbishment of reverse gears and gearboxes
• Assembly, adjustment, and functional testing after repair
• Control measurements and documentation of completed work
• Field service at customer sites, including simpler repairs and assembly
• Contribute to order, safety, and a good working environment in the workshop

Requirements for the Position

• 1–3 years of experience as a mechanic, automotive mechanic, or industrial mechanic
• Good knowledge of mechanics and mechanical components
• Ability to read drawings and technical documentation
• Good command of Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Willingness to work with field service when needed

Your Profile

You are the right candidate if you have several years of experience as a mechanic, automotive mechanic, or industrial mechanic and feel confident in troubleshooting, refurbishing, and assembling mechanical components. You have a technical interest, work meticulously, and appreciate a role where quality and problem-solving are the focus. To succeed in this role, we look for someone with a good understanding of mechanical systems such as bearings, shafts, gears, seals, and fits. You are accustomed to reading drawings and technical documentation and have a structured approach to work, even during high-pressure periods. As a person, you are responsible, self-initiating, and easy to collaborate with both colleagues and customers. Since field service is part of the role, it is important that you are flexible and service-oriented.
