Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced apps for mobile devices and tablets in Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift).
• Develop and maintain complex features that communicate with Regin's products via Bluetooth and WiFi, as well as with our cloud services, using WebSockets and other communication protocols.
• You will primarily work with either Android or iOS, but you must be able to work with both platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Actively contribute to system design and architecture for new and existing systems.
• Stay updated with trends in app development and share insights.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve support cases.
• Contribute to developing and improving our software development workflows.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in developing advanced apps.
• Extensive experience in development for Android (Kotlin/Java/Android Studio) and/or iOS (Swift/Xcode).
• Good understanding of technical systems with interaction between hardware, apps, and cloud services.
• Good understanding of data communication within technical systems.
• Good understanding of low-level troubleshooting in networking and communication (e.g., sockets, TCP/UDP, WebSockets, Bluetooth).
• Good knowledge of Bluetooth, WiFi, and WebSockets.
• Good knowledge of processes for app distribution and releases.
• Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing (minimum level B2).
