Electrician for Eltel – Project PUMA

About the position

Professionals Nord is recruiting several electricians on behalf of Eltel. The assignment is part of a larger initiative to modernize electrical installations across Sweden.

Job Responsibilities

As an electrician in Project PUMA, you will work with the renovation and troubleshooting of electrical installations. You will operate from a service vehicle and work both independently and as part of a team.

Your main tasks include:

• Renovation of electrical installations, such as rewiring
• Troubleshooting and working with electricity meters for private customers
• Working according to instructions and alongside lead installers
• Future opportunities to work with transformer meters (Cat 2) and substations

Working Hours

Depending on the geographical area, different schedules apply:

• Central Sweden: Monday–Thursday, Friday off (longer working days)

Travel is a natural part of the role.

We are looking for someone who

• Has completed an apprenticeship
• Hold an ECY certificate
• Has a Higher Vocational Education (YH) or equivalent qualification
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B, manual transmission)
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English
• Is physically fit
• Is flexible and enjoys traveling work

Qualifications that are an advantage

• Experience working with older electrical installations
• Experience providing service to private customers
• Experience with cable rewiring
• Knowledge of solar cells, inverters, or substations
• Experience with electricity meters and troubleshooting
