Your Responsibilities

As a Site Supervisor, you drive the daily operations on the construction site. With BAS-U (Construction Environment Coordinator Execution), you take on extra responsibility for working environment and safety. In practice:

• You are responsible for ensuring a safe working environment during production
• You ensure that laws, regulations, and safety routines are followed
• You coordinate different professional groups so that work flows smoothly

Main Responsibilities

1. Safety Rounds
Regular walkthroughs of the site to identify risks. This involves:

• Walking around the construction site to check safety
• Documenting deficiencies
• Ensuring that corrective actions are actually implemented

2. Onboarding
Introduction of personnel to the workplace. This involves:

• Registering new workers
• Reviewing safety rules
• Ensuring they have the correct authorizations

3. Moisture Rounds
Moisture control in construction projects (important for quality). You will:

• Measure or follow up on moisture levels
• Ensure materials are not damaged
• Prevent future problems (e.g., mold)

4. Supervision of Subcontractors
You lead and manage the subcontractors doing the work. This involves:

• Planning who does what and when
• Monitoring that work meets time, quality, and budget requirements
• Solving problems quickly on-site

Your Profile

Competence / Requirements

Certificates & Training

• BAS-U – required for working environment responsibility
• Hot Work – for fire-hazardous jobs
• Safe Lifting – (not a requirement, but advantageous)

Category B Driver's License + Own Car
Important because:

• You need to be able to travel to the workplace
• Projects may be located in different places

Administration & Systems

• Advantageous to have knowledge in Dalux and Powerproject

This means:

• You work digitally with planning, documentation, and follow-up
• You do not need to be an expert but must be comfortable with computers

Personal Attributes

• Detail-oriented & Systematic: Keeps order on the site, does not miss details (important for safety)
• Clear Communication: Can give clear instructions, avoids misunderstandings
• Team Player: Collaborates with both own staff and subcontractors, builds good relationships
