Who are we looking for?

We are looking for YOU who has experience with children and loves spending time with them! You are playful, used to being one step ahead, and are familiar with low-affective interaction. You are comfortable with changing diapers and supporting toilet visits. You are good at alternative communication if the child's spoken language is limited. Chemistry between the family and the employee is highly valued by us; therefore, we are looking for employees with different personality types, ages, and leisure interests. We would appreciate it if you have experience with NPD diagnoses (through relatives or work); you often have more experience than you think. We require proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

What does the job as a relief worker involve?

Being a relief worker means working in the home or its immediate vicinity to relieve relatives of a child with a disability. This can be so that relatives get personal time, either alone or together with siblings. The job can be compared to being a babysitter, but for a child with special needs.

Scope of the position?

The positions are hourly-based, and the number of hours per month may vary depending on the customer's decision (from 6 hours/month). Therefore, this is only a side job alongside studies or other work. The interventions are often carried out in the afternoons, evenings, or weekends, as the children attend preschool/school during the day.

According to the Register Control Act and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment.
