About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children with NPF (Neuropsychiatric Function Impairment).

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric function impairment. The most common impairments are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and speech disorders. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible, which is why you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. The assignment:

• Number of children and age: 1 child, 5 years old
• Days and times: 10 hours per month, varying between pickups and weekends.
• Desired start date: Immediately
• Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.
• Location: Årstadal.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (IF experience is a plus).
• Has experience with low-affective interaction and clear/structured pedagogy.
• Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children.
• Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job.
• Is pedagogical, secure, and calm.
• Experience with visual supports/TAKK is a plus.

Tasks:

The tasks may vary depending on the family's needs. Typical tasks include:

• Pickup from preschool/school.
• Organizing activities at and outside the home.
• Providing support during excursions.
• Preparing simple meals.
• Bedtime routines.
• Activation, socialization, and respite.
