Linjemontage is a modern company in the electricity industry that performs contracting work in the field of power supply facilities from 0.4 kV to 400 kV. This can range from complex deliveries of complete transformer stations, delivery of power lines to replacement of parts of systems such as remote control, relay protection, etc. Our customers include, among others, electricity grid owners, industries, municipal and state administrations. Linjemontage has offices and operations throughout Sweden as well as in Norway and a branch in Croatia. We have just over 4,000 employees. Since 2019, Linjemontage has been part of Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd.

In this role, you have overall responsibility for ground engineering and ground construction. You ensure that things happen – smart, smooth, and with a focus on quality. Together with your colleagues, you drive projects forward and find solutions that make a difference. Of course, you keep track of our common guidelines and policies along the way – but above all, you contribute with your engagement and competence to create really good results.

Responsibilities

As a ground constructor and partly a ground project engineer, you are the one who ensures that our projects stand firm – literally. You are involved from the start and develop smart and well-thought-out solutions for ground engineering and construction, both in the bidding phase and during the projects. You analyze ground investigations, dimension ground superstructures, and prepare necessary drawings in close cooperation with the primary constructors, and where something is missing, you help ensure that the correct documentation is produced.

You keep track of requests and contracts, contribute your expertise to the costing work, and perform calculations when needed. Sometimes you are on-site to follow up on quality and progress, or to gather experience for future projects. You participate in meetings both internally and externally, and ensure that orders and materials are handled smoothly.

In addition, you contribute to developing our routines and processes in the area – and take on the tasks needed for the whole to function. In short: you are an important part of ensuring that our ground projects are both secure and successful.

Qualifications

We believe that you are fundamentally a civil engineer with several years of experience as a ground project engineer, geotechnical engineer, or construction engineer – or from a similar role where you have worked with ground and foundation construction. You have the ability to turn theory into functional solutions in practice. You see the big picture, collaborate without ego, and thrive in an environment where projects are driven forward together. Experience of working according to AMA is an advantage.
