About the role

This is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately and running through the end of August. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at the client's site. There are possibilities to extend the assignment.

💼 Responsibilities

In the role of Traffic Manager, you work operationally and close to the business with international road transport within Europe. You act as the hub between the customer and the supplier and are responsible for ensuring that transports are handled correctly from the moment a request comes in until the assignment is completed and followed up. The work is part of daily production and involves close collaboration with both internal colleagues and external parties.

You receive transport requests and bookings, work with pricing within given frameworks, and maintain ongoing dialogue with colleagues and carriers in various European countries. A central part of the role is to follow up on ongoing transports and handle deviations that occur along the way. This can involve delays, changes, or questions from customers that require quick and clear answers. To solve this, you need to quickly get up to speed with the situation, make the right contacts, and drive the case forward until it is resolved.

The role involves a lot of communication via email and phone, in both Swedish and English, and you have daily contact with customers, suppliers, and internal functions. You work in several transport and booking systems and support the team in the daily flow, especially during the summer period. The work takes place in an environment where pace, responsibility, and collaboration are important parts of everyday life.

🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Post-secondary education within transport, forwarding, or traffic management.
• Practical experience from summer jobs or LIA within traffic management, forwarding, or transport planning.
• Good computer and system proficiency.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written – much dialogue takes place in English.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be communicative and confident in your interactions with others. You take responsibility for your cases, drive them forward on your own initiative, and do not wait for instructions for the next step. With a good understanding of the entire transport chain, you easily see which contacts need to be made to resolve different situations. You are curious, receptive, and have a strong desire to develop, but above all, you are proactive. You dare to make decisions even when all conditions are not completely clear, and you see mistakes as a natural part of learning. The right attitude and strong drive are crucial for success in this role.
