We are a team of 25 specialists at AQ Jitmech Örnsköldsvik, focusing on advanced component manufacturing within the engineering industry.

Our machinery is the heart of our operations, and we are now looking to strengthen our team with driven and precise CNC operators with a focus on milling.

We deliver components to major industry players such as NKT SEPSON, BOSCH REXROTH, BAE SYSTEMS, and BAE BOFORS, among others.

About the role:

As a CNC operator with us, you will work independently with setting up, running, and monitoring our CNC milling machines. You will become a key person in the production chain, responsible for delivering parts with the highest quality on time.

Your main responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation: Responsible for setting up and operating our 3- and 5-axis milling machines.

• Programming: Work on programming new jobs and program adjustments directly in the machine, or alternatively in our CAM system. You will have support from production engineers.

• Quality Assurance: Perform self-inspections using measuring tools to ensure products meet specified requirements and drawing specifications.

• Maintenance: Participate in ongoing maintenance of machines and equipment.

• Optimization: Contribute suggestions for improvements in the production process.

Your profile and skills:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality and order. You have a genuine technical interest and thrive in an environment where precision is crucial.

Requirements:

• Experience: Documented experience as a CNC operator, specifically in milling.

• Machine Knowledge: Proficiency in handling CNC machines and understanding of cutting data.

• Drawing Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings fluently.

• Control Systems: Experience with relevant control systems, e.g., Heidenhain, Fanuc, etc.

• Swedish: Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience with CAM programming.

• Knowledge of Lean production or similar improvement work.

• Forklift license and overhead crane license.

• English language skills.
