We are now looking for a certified engineer in UTM (Voice Evacuation Systems) where you will be the team's subject matter expert in the field. You belong to a tightly knit team consisting of one operational UTM technician, eleven fire alarm technicians, four project managers, and one CAD expert. Your role is primarily focused on expertise, knowledge support, and strategy, but you should also be prepared for operational work at the customer site. You are offered a flexible daily routine and great freedom under responsibility. Furthermore, a company car is included in the position. This is something you don't want to miss!
About the Role
As a Certified Engineer in UTM, you are the team's expert in voice evacuation systems and serve as a knowledgeable support for other technicians, salespeople, and customers. The role is primarily performed at the office, but you will also be out at customer sites, and it is important that you are humble enough to also work operationally at the customer site.
Examples of tasks:
Act as a subject matter expert in UTM with responsibility for design, quality assurance, and technical advice
Review installations, documentation, and protocols, and ensure that work follows current requirements and standards
Create calculations and technical documentation, and support the sales organization in the business process
Participate in commissioning of installations and serve as support to technicians in technical matters
Collaborate with pre-sales, salespeople, and installers, and participate in customer meetings for needs analysis and advice
Contribute to both UTM and fire safety, and ensure high quality throughout the entire delivery
Operationally participate in commissioning, installation, or maintenance as needed
Certified Engineer in Voice Evacuation Systems (UTM)
Alternatively, several years of experience specifically in voice evacuation systems and a desire to get certified
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in technical security
Good understanding of design and regulations/law related to voice evacuation systems
Valid driver's license (Category B)
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Clean criminal record (required for work in security-classified operations)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working closely with sales/pre-sales or in a customer-facing technical role
Experience with fire alarms or other security systems

Additional Information
Employment type: Permanent with an initial probationary period
Start date: As agreed, taking notice periods into account
Scope: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7-16 or 8-17
Location: Stockholm, Sundbyberg. There is also an option to base yourself from Uppsala/Gävle
