Kristianopel Resort is the collective name for the business operations that currently run Kristianopel Camping, Guest Harbor, Restaurant Pålsgården, and Hamnkrogen.

We are located in the idyllic town of Kristianopel, with roots dating back to the 17th century.

Kristianopel was founded in 1599 by the Danish King Christian IV on a peninsula extending into the Kalmar Strait.

Today, the church from that era and a restored defensive wall, nearly 2 km long, remain.

Kristianopel is a popular destination for many tourists during the summer.

Many visitors travel long distances, and our guest harbor is filled daily with international guests.

We are now looking for a colleague for our caretaker, Peter. The period is June to August (summer holiday season).

We prefer candidates aged 18–25 years. You are just starting your career or studies and want a free-spirited and enjoyable job during the summer.

As a caretaker, we expect you to have a friendly and welcoming attitude.

You will be the one meeting our guests every day out on the grounds.

Knowledge of how to use and maintain lawn machinery is a prerequisite.

In addition, general maintenance and simple repairs on buildings are required. Painting, welding, changing door handles, fixing drains, etc.

It is important that you can see the big picture and take initiative.

Not afraid to get your hands dirty and do physical work.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required; knowledge of English and German is a plus.

The job can be physically demanding.

Mowing, trimming, clearing flower beds, emptying trash, cleaning the beach – the list of daily tasks is long.

We prefer that you live in the local area, have access to a car, A-tractor, or moped, and are 18–25 years old.

Areas: Torsås, Söderåkra, Bergkvara, Brömsebro, Fågelmara, Torhamn, Jämjö.

One thing is certain: you will get a job with freedom and responsibility. You will be outdoors 98% of the time during the part of the year when our weather is most pleasant.
