Welcome to apply for the position of Maintenance Technician for our CNC/Machining department at Teknia in Vimmerby.

We are now looking for a technical and self-motivated maintenance technician. Are you a solution-oriented person with an interest in technology and maintenance? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We work extensively with new technology and are among the top tier in qualified die casting and post-processing. Our customers are primarily within the automotive industry, focusing on premium brands.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for our CNC machines and other production equipment, primarily on the machining department. You will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance and will actively work on improving our maintenance processes.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will have your own areas of responsibility to maintain and prevent downtime.
• Assist with the commissioning of new equipment when needed.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and service of machines.
• Documentation of completed work.
• Ensure operations resume as soon as possible during machine stoppages and planned stops.
• Collaborate with production and other departments within the company.
• Purchase of spare parts.

Competence and Educational Requirements

• Good knowledge of machining technology.
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Knowledge of MIG/MAG welding.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance.
• Very good technical understanding.

Merits

• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Previous experience working with the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting.
• Experience with planned and preventive maintenance.
