Breakfast Host/Hostess for Hudiksvall's Newest Hotel

As a breakfast host, you will play a central and appreciated role in our operations, creating the first and crucial customer experience of the day. You will be responsible for preparing, replenishing, and presenting the breakfast buffet with care and precision, ensuring that all guests are greeted with a welcoming smile and professional service.

You will manage routines for setting and clearing tables, stock control and replenishment, handling of cold and dry storage, as well as simpler dishwashing and cleaning tasks. Customer contact is a key part of the role: you will answer questions about the breakfast menu, assist with special requests and allergy information, and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere through good communication and service. Flexibility regarding early mornings, weekends, and holidays is often required. We appreciate initiative to improve guest experiences, contribute to a positive work environment, and perform your duties with pride and attention to detail. Responsibilities

Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet according to routines
Replenish and present food and beverages during breakfast hours
Inform guests about allergens and special dietary requirements
Handle simple cash register duties and registration if needed
Cleaning, dishwashing, and tidying breakfast areas after service
Inventory and ordering of breakfast supplies
Follow hygiene and food safety routines

Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience in breakfast service, café, reception, or similar roles is an advantage
Knowledge of food handling and hygiene routines (HACCP certificate is an advantage)
Basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
Ability to work independently and in a team, with good organizational skills
Experience with cash register systems
