About the role
Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is Sweden's largest electricity producer, generating one-sixth of the nation's total electricity consumption. Forsmark's vision is to deliver fossil-free electricity every day, all year round. In this role, the vision becomes clear as you perform daily reviews and safety analyses to ensure the nuclear power plant can produce electricity safely.
You will join the Licensing and Safety Analysis group, where your role will be primarily of a reviewing nature.

This is a consultancy assignment with the ambition that you will be employed by Vattenfall at Forsmark after your consultancy period.
Responsibilities
The role involves ensuring that the facility meets all regulatory requirements and standards through the analysis, review, and development of safety documentation.
- Manage and develop the requirements placed on the facility and its various systems.
- Evaluate and compile how we meet requirements from authorities or other organizations.
- Conduct GAP analyses against various standards or norms.
- Perform technical report writing and reporting on analyses and reviews.
We are looking for you who
- Hold a degree in engineering in energy systems or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience in nuclear power or nuclear-related education.

The position is security-classified, which means a security clearance check will be conducted prior to employment. The security clearance includes register checks and security clearance interviews in accordance with the Security Protection Act. In addition to the security clearance, alcohol and drug tests will be conducted, as well as a medical examination for work with ionizing radiation.
