HEMFIXARNA IS LOOKING FOR YOU TO WORK PART-TIME AS A FURNITURE ASSEMBLER IN SKELLEFTEÅ
The average hourly wage is 270 SEK, which means you can earn an extra 10,000 SEK per month by working an additional 10 hours per week.
Hemfixarna assembles furniture and wardrobes for IKEA customers across the country. Demand is exploding, and we are the sole partner to IKEA for private customers, meaning we need to strengthen our workforce with more skilled assemblers. The position is filled on a rolling basis.
Assemble furniture and wardrobes in private homes
As a furniture assembler for Hemfixarna, you will visit one to two customers per day. Your task is to assemble furniture according to the included instructions. You view available jobs in our mobile app and freely choose those that suit you geographically and temporally. You book the time yourself with the customer and travel to the job using your own car. You are also required to provide basic tools such as a screwdriver and a hammer drill.
We are looking for you who want a side job and wish to work independently under your own conditions. You receive your salary paid directly by us with all taxes deducted, so no company registration is needed. The average hourly wage among our assemblers is 270 SEK/hour, which yields slightly more than 10,000 SEK extra per month with 10 hours of work per week. There are great opportunities to work more than 10 hours a week in many parts of the country, and you decide exactly how much you want to work.

Merits
- Experience with simple craftsmanship, or generally handy, methodical, and meticulous.
- Responsible and motivated by freedom under responsibility in the customer's home.
- Handy and accustomed to handling the tools required for furniture assembly.
- Physically strong enough to handle IKEA's larger furniture packages.
- Motivated by booking customer visits for optimal driving routes, even in cities with tolls.
- Hold a valid Swedish Category B driver's license.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and write in Swedish and English.
- Own or acquire your own tools, such as a screwdriver and hammer drill.
