HEMFIXARNA IS LOOKING FOR YOU TO WORK PART-TIME AS A FURNITURE ASSEMBLER IN NORRTÄLJE

The average hourly wage is 270 SEK, which means working an extra 10 hours a week yields approximately 10,000 SEK extra per month.

Hemfixarna assembles furniture and wardrobes for IKEA customers nationwide. The demand is exploding, and we are the exclusive partner to IKEA for private customers, meaning we need to strengthen our workforce with more skilled Fixers. The position is filled on a rolling basis.

Assemble furniture and wardrobes in private homes

As a Furniture Assembler at Hemfixarna, you will visit one to two customers per day. Your task is to assemble furniture according to the included instructions. You will view assignments in our mobile app and freely choose those that fit you geographically and temporally. You book the time directly with the customer and arrange travel to the customer's home using your own car. You must also bring simple tools such as a screwdriver and a hammer drill.

We are looking for you who want a side job and enjoy working independently on your own terms. You receive your salary paid by us with all taxes deducted, so no company registration is required. The average wage among our furniture assemblers is currently 270 SEK/hour, which at 10 extra hours a week gives a bit more than 10,000 SEK extra in your pocket. Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with simple craftsmanship or are generally handy, methodical, and meticulous.
  • Are responsible and motivated by freedom under responsibility on-site at customers' homes.
  • Are handy and accustomed to handling the tools required for furniture assembly.
  • Are physically strong enough to handle IKEA's larger furniture packages in the customer's home.
  • Are driven to book customer visits for optimal driving routes, even in cities with tolls.
  • Hold a valid Category B driver's license (in Sweden).

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Own or acquire your own tools, such as a screwdriver and hammer drill.
