Job Responsibilities
We have approximately 50 positions left, distributed as follows:
Elderly Care, Care and Housing Facilities (Elderly Housing) – 20 positions
The tasks consist of personal care, such as assisting with toilet and shower routines, dressing and undressing, administering medication, helping with meals, and service tasks like laundry, simple cooking, and social interaction. Various activities are organized at the facilities, such as playing games, reading books, listening to music, bingo, reading the daily newspaper, baking, cooking, spa treatments, etc.
Elderly Care, Ordinary Housing (Home Care) – 20 positions
In this role, you support individuals in their own apartments, row houses, or villas. The tasks include personal care (toilet/shower, dressing/undressing, medication, meals) and service tasks (laundry, simple cooking, social interaction). A large part of the work is performed independently. We have both bicycle and car districts depending on the home care area you work in.
Support for People with Disabilities (Group Housing, Service Housing, Short-term Housing for Children/Youth, and Personal Assistance) – 10 positions
Group Housing: Several residents live in their own apartments within a group housing setting. Your responsibilities include care and supporting the resident with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, laundry, meals, cleaning, social contacts, and support during leisure activities. Alternative communication methods such as pictures, signs, and symbols are used in the work.
Service Housing: A middle ground between independent living in your own apartment and group housing. Here, you act as a social support, helping residents structure their daily lives. The care tasks are less extensive than in group housing.
Short-term Housing for Children/Youth: Provides respite for families and relatives by having the child/youth stay at the facility for one or more days during weekdays or weekends, or through leisure activities in the mornings, afternoons, and holidays. The focus is on social interaction, activating the children and youth, and some care.
Personal Assistance: You work independently, and tasks can include extensive care duties such as dressing/undressing, toilet/shower assistance, transfer assistance (lift), catheter flushing, PEG management, tube feeding, and using breathing masks. You also support with meals, medication, household chores, and participate in leisure activities, social interaction, and shopping.
Qualifications
We are primarily looking for you who have completed or are currently studying a nursing education, childcare education, or other equivalent education. Alternatively, we seek you with experience working with people in need of support or experience from service industries.
You should be engaged and curious in your work and have a strong sense of responsibility. Furthermore, you should be attentive to the residents' needs and have a genuine interest in helping other people. You must master the Swedish language, both spoken and written, to communicate with residents and to document events and other information in your work. It is very important that you collaborate well with colleagues and contribute with flexibility and joy in work.
Experience and knowledge of alternative communication methods are a plus. Some digital skills are also required as much of the work – both your schedule and documentation – is handled via apps.
A Class B driver's license is required for several of the vacant positions, while bicycle proficiency is sufficient for others. We also expect you to be able to work irregular hours, meaning shifts during the day, evenings, and weekends. Due to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements for care work, you must be at least 18 years old.
