About the role
We are looking for a Vehicle Technician for a client in Enköping for a permanent full-time position. In this role, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of light and heavy vehicles in the workshop. The tasks include diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and functional testing, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficient workflow. You will work in a team and collaborate closely with supervisors, spare parts/warehouse staff, and technicians to ensure high availability of the vehicle fleet.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have vehicle technical education or equivalent practical experience as a technician or mechanic. You are familiar with diagnostic tools and have experience with engine, transmission, and braking systems. Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, AdBlue/exhaust aftertreatment, and specific vehicle types in the field is an advantage. You are structured, problem-solving oriented, and have a clear safety mindset. To succeed in the role, you are self-motivated but also accustomed to working in a team. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.
Your responsibilities
- Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on cars and heavy vehicles according to established procedures
- Conduct technical inspections, diagnostics, and functional tests using modern diagnostic tools
- Replace and adjust components such as engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance according to service plans and document completed work in the system
- Participate in troubleshooting and improvement work to increase the reliability of the vehicle fleet
- Ensure a safe working environment by following procedures, reporting deviations, and maintaining tools and equipment
- Report faults and collaborate with the spare parts and purchasing team as needed to ensure fast deliveries
We are looking for you who
- Have relevant vehicle education or equivalent practical experience
- Have good knowledge of diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems
- Are meticulous, problem-solving oriented, and have a clear safety mindset
- Can work independently and in a team, handling varying priorities
- Are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Hold a valid Category B driver's license (required)
