About the role

We are currently looking for a CNC Operator for our client, Rolfs Kuggservice, in Smedjebacken, with a focus on turning. As a CNC Operator, you will become an important part of the production of high-quality gears and special components for the industry. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, in a business characterized by high technical competence, precision, and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes
• Work from drawings to ensure approved components
• Perform measurement checks and ensure quality of produced components
• Car out simple maintenance and preventive servicing on machines

Location: Smedjebacken

Working hours: Daytime

About you

We are looking for someone who is responsible, precise, and solution-oriented. You have a positive attitude towards your work, enjoy developing yourself, and are curious about new technology. You are also a team player who thrives in collaboration, but also has the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Education in CNC or equivalent experience
• Practical experience as a CNC Operator
• Experience reading drawings and programming directly in the machine
• Knowledge of metrology, cutting technology, and preventive maintenance
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits

• Experience with Fanuc and/or Okuma control systems
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates
• Experience from gear machining

Rolfs Kuggservice AB is a subcontracting company based in Smedjebacken since 1996. They manufacture all types of gears and gear wheels, as well as splines and worm screws, from raw material to finished product. The company is certified with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
