At Söränget Care and Residential Home, we are now looking for new, dedicated colleagues to join our team! Together, we work to ensure that the people we serve receive the right support based on their needs – delivered with respect, kindness, and a professional approach.
The positions involve five permanent full-time (100%) roles with start dates to be agreed upon.
We look forward to receiving your application!
Job Responsibilities
As an employee, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our residents. We work with a health-promoting approach aimed at strengthening individuals' own abilities, ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life fully, throughout their entire life.
Involvement, development, and community are key words for us, where continuous improvements create the prerequisites for achieving high quality.
The responsibilities include, among other things, personal care, contact person duties, and organizing social and physical activities together with our residents.
We work in a team-based manner, meaning that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life and a positive environment for our residents.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant (undersköterska) or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We prefer candidates who have further education in elderly care and/or dementia, or a psychiatric focus. Experience working in care and social services is an advantage.
It is important that you enjoy working with people, are flexible, and are open to new ideas and working methods.
The role requires sufficient proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with residents, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.
Please attach your CV and a cover letter to your application.
Approximately 2,500 employees work in the Welfare Administration. As part of the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license plus a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that proves citizenship. For some positions, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal record registers are required. We welcome proficiency in Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.
