We are now looking for 2 care assistants/nursing assistants for the summer, on a part-time or full-time basis.

Karbyhemmet is a supported housing facility (HVB-home) for adults with intellectual disabilities. We are located approximately 10 minutes outside central Norrtälje in a beautiful environment and offer a total of 12 places.

We ensure that each individual is at the center of focus, and the work is based on the person's lifestyle, values, and habits. Due to our dense staffing during the day, there are great opportunities for social activation for those living with us. Your work will also include general tasks such as kitchen duties, cleaning, and storage management. The role also includes medication administration after delegation from our nurse. We require you to be available for day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed. On-call sleeping shifts at the workplace are applied.

Qualifications that are meritorious include:

• Completion of a 3-year nursing program or other equivalent education.
• Previous experience working with elderly individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or dementia.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Engaged and responsible.
• Good ability to collaborate when working in a team, while also being confident in your abilities when working alone.

You want to contribute to creating a calm living environment for our residents and are not afraid to try new methods or ideas. Personal suitability is highly valued.
