NU-sjukvården is part of the Region of Västra Götaland and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area covers 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are approximately 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, and our area offers varied nature with both sea, mountains, forest, and lakes.

You will be involved in creating an orthopedic department that promotes the employee's work environment with a work climate where the employee feels a sense of belonging and security in the team.

In our department, we work in 3–4 care teams, each with 8 available care beds plus 2 overflow beds.

In the team, the leading nurse works together with 2 assistant nurses and 1 healthcare assistant.

The patients in the care group will be of mixed care levels, ranging from the acute patient to the more care-ready patient waiting for discharge.

The way of working is characterized by a high pace and places great demands on competence and responsibility from everyone in the team to ensure patient safety.

The work is varied, and the tasks revolve around pre- and postoperative nursing care.

Together, we are building a work group characterized by a sense of team spirit, and we work in a fast-paced and exciting operational area.

Other

Service at other parts of the orthopedic clinic may occur. Interviews may take place during the application period. The extent of employment: full-time, but with the option to work day/evening shifts or 3-shifts or night shifts.

Clinical Base Year
